And We’re Off!

One week into build season and halfway through a four day weekend full of meetings! With field pieces and chassis done, we are moving onto prototyping and completing on our design. After some debating during the first week of season— thanks to the input gained from the GOS/SCRA combined kickoff and workshops— we have decided on a arm and wrist mechanism. We plan to focus on scoring into the amp and helping our teammates achieve those amped speaker shots. We want to be able to do this consistently, so this time of prototyping, testing, and measuring is important to get a trustworthy and efficient robot in the end. Other projects we are working on in the meantime of design finalization are getting our bumpers done early, as well as wiring up our new super pit (plans courtesy of team 973).
